Free Animated Musical Ecards

I have so much trouble finding a greeting card whenever I go to the store. I don't know what it is, but they never seem to have ones that really appeal to me or suit the tastes of my friends and relatives. They are all too cute, too raunchy, or just not quite right for the occasion. That is one of my favorite things about electronic greeting cards – you can basically find anything you want. There are so many sites that offer free ecards on the Internet that you can't fail to find something that appeals to you.

My favorite are free animated musical ecards. Getting musical greetings around the holidays is pretty great. I remember the first time I got one as a kid – it was a little digitized sound clip from peanuts. Although back then musical cards used a simple FM chip instead of the high-tech digital samples that they use today, it still was a neat novelty. It even flashed with little red LEDs while it played the melody.

Although you can get some pretty sophisticated greeting cards nowadays, the free animated musical ecards outdo them by far. After all, you can basically customize them to include any greeting, any song, any pictures you want. In reality, most sites only have a limited number of different melodies, tunes, and pictures. After all, there are copyright issues to deal with. Even so, with all the choices out there, you're sure to be able to find a free animated musical ecard that suits your purposes.

Last Christmas, instead of getting normal greeting cards for all of my relatives, I got everyone free animated musical ecards. I sent my grandfather one with his favorite folk song - “Man of Constant Sorrow” - and a little animation of a guy playing banjo on the porch. My sister got a disco themed musical animated free ecard, with a hilarious little guy dancing on it. Everyone likes funny ecards, particularly when they are keyed to their personal interests.
