Electric Shavers
No man likes the routine. You get out
of bed in the morning, drag your fatigued body to the bathroom
and gaze up into the mirror. There it is. The same old beard
scruff that magically returns every day. You know you just
can't leave it. Going to work this way would be sloppy and
disrespectful to your supervisors. At least in the world we
live in.
Stubble is only for those blue collar guys who work outdoors
with their hands. If you spend your weekdays in and office or
cubicle with a suit on, just forget about avoiding the razor.
Now, that's not to say you have to grapple with the blade on a
daily basis. There are plenty of electric shavers to choose
from as well. It all depends on which you prefer, and which
provides a cleaner shave. But you won't know until you give
both methods a shot.
I spent several years using electric shavers. Although I'm
only 31 years old now, I didn't begin using a blade until I was
25. And let me tell you, back then I used a variety of
electrics. I wanted to try them all in order to find out which
is REALLY the best on the market. I began with a wet/dry
Panasonic. Hmm, how should I put this? It stunk. I though this
was probably the worst electric known to man. It always had a
slight burn to it when I shaved. Then came my father's Norelco.
These aren't too bad really.
I love the concept that it has three small blades chopping
away at your face scruff. However, I didn't feel as though it
was providing a close enough shave. Soon enough I decided to
try a few foreign electric shavers. These cost me some bucks. I
recall a German one I bought was 300 dollars.
The brand was Grundig. And then there was a bizarre Japanese
razor that used a spiral blade to get the job done. Both were
decent, but not ideal. Last but not least, I gave a Braun
integral electric razor a shot. The results were awesome. This
was the best electric I had seen yet. In fact, I still have it
today and it works great.
Maybe electric shavers are right up
your alley. Some men prefer the convenience of not needing hot
water and shaving cream. You can whip out your pocket electric
shaver on the go and trim up your face in the car. Just
remember that there are pre-shave solutions on the market now
days that will make your electric shaving experience much
nicer.
